Mission & History
Our mission is to provide a community-based program for seniors to maintain their independence and quality of life. This will be achieved through health promotional activities, community resources, volunteers and nursing services to help individuals live safely in their own homes.
Longfellow/Seward Healthy Seniors is a non-profit, community-based organization serving older adults in the greater Longfellow and Seward neighborhoods of Minneapolis.
We're a member program of the Living at Home Network, which is a group of community programs throughout Minnesota that helps seniors live independently. We're governed by a local board of directors.
Financial support for our program comes from public and private grants, donations, fundraising events and bequests. Donations and bequests are tax deductible.
